About Baker Ukraine
"Baker-Ukraine" Company, a leading manufacturer of waffle cones and ice cream packaging, was founded in 2002.
The partner of the new project, which was largely unique at the time, was Raiffeisenbank Ukraine.
Following the needs of our customers-ice cream manufacturers, starting from 2005, our company has been also focusing on ice cream packing production, concurrently with the manufacture of waffle products.
The first step was the acquisition of ice cream packing production line, with 9000 pieces per hour capacity.
In November 2006 the shop was launched for the production of 183 mm high ice cream packing - this was the most sought-after size in the ice cream market at the time. The new packaging was foil cones glued together with paper - up-to-day, eco-friendly and hard-wearing material for ice-cream storage.
In March 2007 the high quality of our products was confirmed by international quality
ISO 9001:2000
and food quality
ISO 22000:2005
certificates.
Striving to accelerate the fulfillment of our customers' orders, in October 2007 "Baker-Ukraine" Company purchased new equipment by Walter (Germany): Jupiter 89 XP for the manufacture of industrial waffle cones with the production capacity of 5400 pieces per hour and Jupiter 49 - for the manufacture of rough top cones, which are used in the soft ice cream distribution networks, with 3500 pieces per hour capacity. This enabled 100% acceleration of order fulfillment.
February-March 2008 was marked by the start of the manufacture of 197 mm high ice cream packing, as well as establishment of the closed cycle of waffle cone manufacture.
Heightened requirements to the level of production cleanliness and security, the development of original recipes and technical specifications, compliance with the international quality standards and ongoing consulting support in the production of ice cream cones enabled us to enhance our customer service, bringing it to a higher level.
